This is an easy read book about a young woman, who is born into a wealthy family, but life changes dramatically for her when circumstances force her to relocate to Wales and a very different lifestyle. It’s a well written book, and the author really brings the characters and their environment to life, so you can’t help but get drawn into the story.
We follow her life and the choices she makes, not all of them the right ones. She experiences life in a convent, and a loveless marriage, before finding happiness. It's not a story with much depth, but even so I found myself looking forward to reading it each day. Rosie Goodwin is a new author to me, but I would read more of hers if they came my way.
