What I liked about this was that I was instantly gripped. As someone who has read plenty of historical fiction books before, this is definitely a book I would want to read more of. Aside from the genre, I loved the dialogue as it built suspense and made me want to know more about the characters. From this short read, it is obvious that the characters are complex and interesting. By creating these types of characters the plot of the story will certainly be enticing.
I also really liked the cover, mainly because of the colours.
