Intriguing start which sets the scene

This is an intriguing start and really sets the scene well. I loved the writing style and all the descriptions of characters and setting. We are thrown straight into the action with a meeting between two of queen victoria's great grandsons who are on opposing sides and suspicious of eachother having once been close friends. I would love to read the rest of this book and find out what happens.
