This promise to be another excellent story in the Tom Wilde series.

I've enjoyed all of Rory Clements earlier Tom Wilde books and, having read the first three chapters of this one, I know that I'll be in for another treat if I'm lucky enough to win a copy of it. It promises to be another rip-roaring and fast-moving story with well-developed characters. I love the way he uses the considerable research he must do to interweave various historical events into his stories. His creative use of this adds an authenticity which drives the narrative for me, with each of his earlier stories encouraged me to do extra reading around the period ... for me, always the mark of a really good book!
