What a fantastic book this was, it was engrossing from start to finish taking you back to the era with ease by making it feel so real and vivid as if you were in the middle of the war times, it is a blockbuster movie in the making. I would recommend this to anyone, specifically people interested in wartime books and also in murder mystery thrillers, truth be told though, anyone who enjoys a good story will find this a breeze to fly through due to the authors way of making you feel a connection to the characters and show disdain to others. It takes you from the heart of London to Scotland to Germany and Poland and everywhere in between whilst always keeping you fully in the loop of what was going on no fluffy bits padding out the pages, all parts were imperative to the storyline, which made it even more of a fascinating read. I could not rate it highly enough, I will be going back and reading Mr Clements other Wilde books now, 5 stars!
