The first thing that pulled me in to read this book was the colours not only does the red and black scream love and romance but also mystery and death. The story was very fast paced involving many different type of stuff that would somehow put Tom Wilde in danger such as mysteries, life and death struggles ect. I love the fact that the story wasn’t just based in England but the whole of Europe. The plot was so intriguing never knowing who to trust creating a sense of tension throughout most of the book. The ending was quite dramatic and left on a cliff hanger as always!! Tom Wilde has got a all new and unresolved clue to the mystery meaning Tom Wilde will be back again!! I definitely recommend this book as it pulled me in so much and was so entertaining. I also recommend this book if you love history!! Although being set in 1942 i felt like i was with Tom Wilde!!! I 100% recommend
