The blitz was one of the most stressful periods in modern history. Imagine frequently leaving your home, listening to explosions wandering if it's your home and possessions being destroyed or people you know being killed. Then add the issue of keeping your regular issues together amongst the chaos let alone someone coming in and unraveling the past. This book looks nostalgic but also fiery. An interesting read.
