I loved the author's previous book, A Ration Book Christmas, for its heart-warming and dramatic story of daily life in the East End of London during the Blitz. I'd welcome catching up with the Brogan family again. It sounds as if the author will create the same convincing sense of the period and of the East End as in her other books.

I also love that the cover appears to use vintage images not modern day models posing in period costume.
