At first I wasn’t sure if this was the type of book I should pick up and read, but I am so glad I did. Almost immediately I fell in love with Ida’s character and the bond she and Jerimiah have is beautiful and I love the chemistry between them. One of my favourite parts so far has been the rations and explaining how it works, as I’ve read about it before but to have some real context with it makes it so much more interesting.
