Taken in by the first page...

In my world of reading, i never ever go for books set in the war times, this first impression drew me in, instantaneously. My imagination ran wild, visioning the house the Brogans lived in, the streets they walked and even the smells they experienced.
Iconic description leaving me thirsty for more of this war time story!!!!
I take great excitement in finding out the strength Ida Brogan takes to keep her family together.
