Having read and enjoyed A Wartime Christmas I have been looking forward to finding more books in this series. The way the author describes how people have to learn to come to terms with loved ones being away - and with the men at war the women have to learn to do more and more jobs. It is also an insight into how children lived - their schooling interrupted by sirens, sweets on ration and Christmas 's when people tried to make the most of what they had. I hope this is as good as the other book ...can't wait to find out
