I am intrigued to know what the secret is. I like the fact it is a wartime story. I want to know how it will all come together. How the characters will bond and the significance and parts that will develop further in to the story. If it will affect the marriage when the secret is out, whose lives will be affected or will the secret go undescovered but will you be left on tender hooks. I'm intrigued to read other books by the same author also previous ones that are in connection to this one. Seems like an easy book to get lost in when you are relaxed. I want to know if Ida can put the past behind her and help her old friend when she needs it, can she forgive and finally put the past behind her.
