The first two chapters are incredible, setting the scene for the rest of the book. Both chapters ended on points that have drawn me in greatly, I just wish I could read it all right now! Very well written to fit in with the context of the time, historically accurate from what I have read so far, perfectly setting the scene as though I was there witnessing the events. This is exactly how a book should be, and I can’t wait until it is published. What an incredible author. If you have not already, I recommend checking it out, even if it is not your typical go-to style. It will shock you. The appearance of Ellen and Michael are unexpected but add such a twist to the story, you will not want to put it down.
