I wish before reading this book that I knew it was the latest book of a series. Such a good book! I felt this book made you feel a part of the story and also a part of the Brogan family.
The book went through the struggles a family goes through and how they all pulled together when times were tough and put feuds aside. Each family member has their unique character but you feel a sense of admiration towards Ida and how she always puts the needs of others first. Throughout the book I felt like I should dislike Jerimiah and Ellen but I couldn't help but like Jerimiahs character and feel a great sadness for Ellen.
Its well written and a genuine lovely book. It made you want to read more and I felt rather sad when it finished.
