What a story

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that there was so many siblings and they all had their own story to tell, I like that it was older children that were discussion and I loved Jeremiah even after what he did. The characters were written very well and if you enjoy call the midwife then you would enjoy this book. I loved seeing queenie going from giving Ida a hard time to having her back. And Ida is a good person through and through! I think the best bit of the book was when pearl came to visit and queenie turned into a little child and just started at her, that lady gives no fecks.

I will read more from Jean Fullerton in the future.
