I really liked this! The setting was wonderful and I love how, despite the horrors of the war and the bombs, there was something oddly charming about this book that really captured the essence of wartime England and especially christmas in wartime england. I loved the relationship between Tommy and Jo (and just Tommy in general tbh). Jo was a strong female lead and I loved the mix of romance and action in the story. There was drama both family and relationship however it was fairly realistic and in no way overdone. This was a really fun read with well developed and interesting characters that I loved reading about! I'd highly reccommend it to anyone who likes historical fiction and wants a lovely cosy read this christmas.
