Recently read the 3 books of this series. This is the second and my least favourite. Nothing against the author or the writing. I really enjoyed the first and the third. I didn't find the storyline during this book as gripping as the others. Maybe because so much more happened during the first. All 3 are written great and I found I pictured how the scenes would be in a film. They are lovely stories during the London Bombing times. This book showed how true love conquers all and if you truly love someone you will never give up. I did find that throughout the book I was rooting for Tommy after the sad upbringing he had and also had a constant dislike towards his brother and the friends. I have enjoyed this series as it shows the love the Brogan's have for eachother
