This is the story of Cathy who is a WRVS helper in London during the Second World War. It conveys the community spirit of all the helpers and the hardships endured by those in London during the war. It is atmospheric and conveys the times in detail but it all shares a love story for Cathy and explains what many women went through during the 1940's.A great read.
