Very fitting tribute to NHS and Front line workers. The historic accuracy was nice and as a history nerd it interested me very quickly. It was easy to stay engaged with the conversations taking place and the narration really helped paint a picture of the Rest Centre. The interactions between Cath and Peter were very sweet as well.
Cathy's strength in dealing with her emotions and 'the weight surrounding her' showed the strength of women in her time excellently.
Also adored the historically accurate use of slang!
End of chapter two left an interesting cliff-hanger, can't wait to read more.
