I absolutely love the sound of this book! Historical romance always makes for an interesting read. Already I feel incredibly sorry for the main character and the life she has lead so far, she seems like a lovely character that hasn't had the best life so far. Almost immediately I felt like I wanted her to finally achieve the love she deserves. The cover of this book looks enticing and exciting and it is clearly to see from the depiction of the main character on the front that she is a down-to-earth normal working lady that needs a break from the cards she has been dealt in life. I am intrigued as to how her love life will turn out with a child in tow. Finally, the title makes for a very interesting read and draw the reader in straightaway, the rationing aspect of this book is something I am most looking forward to reading.
