My first impression was one of aprehension. I am not a fan of old style books and that is what I gathered from the cover. However, I must say it did intrigue me enough to read the blurb and wow was I not expecting that!! I really want to find out what she chooses to do, will she wait or will she find her true love elsewhere? I have no clue what I will be rooting for as on one hand I feel sorry for the man who went to war but on the other hand I want her to find her true love and be happy...so many emotions !!
