What I liked most about this is that upfront the title of the book is just magnetic for eyes you are drawn straight to it. The cover of the book leads so well along with the title into giving a sneak peak into what this book is truly about, you can see the themes of happiness and family, however we know this is about the war from the title and so these initial implied themes that the cover gives are shortly thrown over by the likelyhood that this book has more layers and mysteries than it seems! The synopsis is also absolutely great, it justifies and confirms that idea that the implications of love and happiness are not all the book is about, this is about more, this is about truth and that really draws me in. I’d love to finish this book it seems heartbreaking but also heartwarming and I feel that those juxtaposing themes can only cook a recipe for utter addiction and attraction to this book.
