Normally historical/wartime drama wouldn't appeal to me but I read the authors previous book "A Ration Book Wedding" and I was very impressed with it. So I am keen to read more of the authors books. This sounds like a great read. Will Cathy have a happy ending with the lodger or will the violent ex husband come back to cause trouble.
