I was surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this book.

What I loved about this novel once I started reading it was the author's writing. It was so subtle and so complicated, the balance between vivid imagery and simple writing just right. The character's introduction in the beginning first few pages helped me, as the reader, learn more about her and start forming a connection with her. Lastly, I loved the cover of the book as well, it was what drew me to previewing it!
