As a history student, I have an appreciation for books set during the war. The concept seems interesting; the betrayal of her husband's fascist ideology and the the happiness that comes with knowing she could be free of him and her fearful life she lived as his wife. It would be interesting to see Archie's point of view more as a minority solider among his white comrades. I would be interested in reading more.
