Firstly, the cover of the book is simply beautiful, the colour scheme and vintage like artwork instantly reminded me of the era and intrigued me to read the blurb. Upon reading the description, I can only sympathise with Cathy and position she is in, as we know, in that period of time the struggles of domesticity were at an all time high, but reading a peek into Cathy's life, I can only hope that the new romance will be a renewal of life for her. Cant wait to read it!
