Okay to begin with, I don't love the cover, and usually I judge books by their covers (even though I know I shouldn't). It's only because I'm not a massive fan of covers with actual people on, I don't know why.
BUT, I love love love war stories, they're probably my favourite because they're always sad and I'm a sucker for sad stories, and they're also always realistic, which just makes them more sad. The same goes for this book (i think).
The other thing I love is strong female characters, and Cathy seems like one, finger's crossed.
So anyway, I read the first look and I will definitely be buying this!!!
