I love this series of books, have read each one and can’t wait to be able to read this one.
The Brogan family really band together and help each other along the way.
Poor Cathy though has had it hard, her husband is awful to her as is her mum but Cathy struggles on for the sake of her son, no matter how many times her family had told her to get away.
In this book she has a glimpse of hope, her husband is away, doing his bit for the war effort but one day she hears he is missing, could this be her way to freedom.
It’s about time that something good happens to Cathy, she is always getting the rough end of things, really hoping in this book she will get a better life
