This book appears to have all the makings of a true love story. Although it looks interesting and the writing style is engaging I have never enjoyed history novels and find that the emphasis on the war may be too great for me.
In respect to the cover it clearly displays a mother's love for her son so I feel this may be one of the great themes that runs throughout.
