I liked the cover as it instantaneously tells the reader this story will be focusing on a mother and her child, which we can see in the blurb is a large part of Cathy's life. Cathy's story is not unlike millions of others during the war and I think it's very interesting how Fullerton doesn't idolise Stanley but instead makes him a bad person. You hope that Cathy does find love after what she's been through and I would love to find out!
