When I read the preview of the book I felt a sense of pity for the mother that could do nothing for the father of her child except wait and hope for the best. Also, the end of the preview makes you think that Cathy will find love again or perhaps use the lodger to find out where and what really happened to her husband overall the book seems interesting but not my preferred genre.
