I loved the first couple of chapters of this, it reminded me of Call the Midwife and Bridgeton, both of which began as books and have now become very popular TV shows. I think there's definitely a place in the market for the reader who is curious about times past but with an edge of quirkiness that shows both a his and hers perspective. Can't wait for this to be released so I can read it all!
