This novel sound,s like it could be a good read. You can only imagine how the main character must be feeling - living with a violent husband who then get,s sent to fight in the war must be a mixture of relief that he is no longer home and worry about the war and keeping her little boy safe. Then having to deal with the emotion,s of her husband going missing and her attraction to the new lodger, I think this book sound,s like a really good story,
