What I first liked about this book was the connection we already get to the character Cathy. As a reader I feel for her, having to deal with a violent husband and pulling a brave face for her son peter. I liked the cover too, the flower details are very beautiful and I liked that the colours bring our attention to Cathy and her son, Peter.
