this book shares the perfect balance of historic knowledge- while not to much as to alienate the audience, as I have found can be an issue with previous reads. This book drips the information which allows for a story which is relatable and easy to follow. It is easy to like Cathy and put yourself in her shoes no matter how different the two situations are, wonderfully built and written.
