This is a family friendly series in London during the Second World War. Cathy, the main character, is married to an abusive husband who has gone to war. She cannot divorce him but is staying strong for her baby son. However when Cathy's husband is considered missing in action she feels a little hope and happiness.
She then meets a sottish man Archie with a little daughter and no wife. Does she have another chance at a happy life with love... Only time will tell.
