Still Cathy lives in fear of her mother in law and is struggling to hold everything together.
Then she meets Archie McKintosh and she experiences true love for the first time.
But they cannot be together until the time is up when Stanley can legally be declared dead then she can move on and be happy with Archie.
But then against all odds disaster strikes and her plans for a new future look set to be destroyed.
I love this series of books and this was just as good as the others in the series, I so enjoy reading about the Brogan family adventures.
A wonderful wartime installment of a great saga series.
