I’ve never read a book like this as it’s not the sort of thing that usually appeals to me. However, i won the book by chance and obviously decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised by how intriguing a story line like this was. I loved following the main character through the entire journey. Although we’ll never truly experience that, it’s still relatable in terms of emotions and family dynamics. The challenges she faces are similar to those which we all face. I’m rooting for cathy and have grown fond of her. It’s easy to sympathise and understand her behaviour. As far as the book goes, i liked the writing style and found it fairly easy to follow along with. I liked how to plot unravels so smoothy and i think many of the chapters are beautifully written. I’d recommend this and will look into more of the authors work from the experience with this book.
