First of all, I loved the cover of the book! From the very first pages, I was already hooked. If you love war and emotional stories then you will love this book... This author is also a great writer, I would love to read more of her books...

Cathy has to deal with a vengeful and dominating mother-in-law who abuses her badly, but she stands firm for her baby Peter... Cathy is a beautiful mother who obviously adores her child. I loved Archie a lot...I wish they had spent more time with him outside of Cathy, but their relationship was so sweet in comparison to her marriage to Stanley... Cathy's tale, in my opinion, is similar to those of many other women...
