This is a great historical fiction story which is part of the ration book series. It is set in the blitz in London during World War 2. It is easy to read and is beautifully written that you can actually imagine it all, it is full of highs and lows.
When Cathy's husband is declared missing in action she allows herself to hope that she may be free at last of her violent husband as divorce would never be an option.
