This is a lovely story about a women named Cathy which is set in the second world war in london.
It is the middle of the second world war and Cathy is living in london with her young son Peter whilst her husband is away fighting in the war. She lives with her husband’s mother who is not very nice to her however Cathy keeps things polite and does not let it get to her. She has word that her husband is missing in action which Cathy is not very upset about as he was really not very nice to her. She has six months to wait until she can be officially widowed. In the time she meets a lovely man called Archie and they instantly fall in love. Violet is not happy and tries to ruin the relationship which she does not succeed in as it comes to light that her son has turned traitor.
