The cover sets the style of the era really well and looks like the book is humorous and full of stories the women share. I enjoyed the first look, I’d expected it to be more old fashioned than I found it to be. I’m not a lover of books set in the past, it just isn’t my preferred genre but I found the writing very atmospheric and easy to get into.
