Historical romance is definitely not my go to genre, unfortunately. But I thought I would give the first impression a chance to see if I could get into it. I wasn’t aware that this was part of a saga, which made it even more difficult to get into it - as characters were already established. This could definitely be someone’s ideal summer read, but it’s just not for me I’m afraid.
