Each book carefully crafts the story of each member of the Brogan family allowing them a chance to shine with their own story. The way it is written really immerses you in World War II London, showing how hard life was, whilst also showing that there is love and joy to be found even when the world feels like it is being torn apart.
This story finally answers the question we have been asking Queenie and provides a delightful finale to an incredible series. It has been so much fun to follow this family whilst they navigate the course of WW2 in their own way.
