I've loved every one of Jean Fullertons ration book series, full of British bonhomie and togetherness, following regular families and all their trials and tribulations through war torn Britain, loss of laughs, but also lots of sadness, these books are wonderfully lovely and touching. After reading a Jean Book you'll never be the same, the way Jean writes these truly beautiful stories, you'd think she was actually there witnessing all these terrifying events!! So good are they. You are in for a real treat with this latest novel in this truly epic wartime saga, it really isn't to be missed. You will enjoy these if like me, you do love to read scores of wartime romance novels. Jean manages to capture all the excitement, fear, love, loss and so very much more in this volume. I couldn't put it down, it was miraculous a real work of art, really made you feel part of the story. Very well written, highly recommend!
