I’m most certainly grateful that I was able to get my hand on this book. It was a great end to the Ration book series by Jean Fullerton. I like how we got to follow along the journey of Queenie through the series. The Brogan’s have definitely been quite the family, being relatable in most circumstances. It was truly an experience to meet such wonderful characters, the story line and the plot being phenomenal! This book mainly elaborates on Philomena Dooley, who is also known as Queenie. The story is indeed set in the Second World War. Jean Fullerton has done a spectacular job in portraying families back in the days, clearly setting the tone and atmosphere to flow alongside the storyline and plot. It is definitely a series worth having a look at as it provides a sense of comfort and laughter, touching certain emotions. All in all, this book is certainly something I would recommend!
