The title and cover intrigued me straight away because I love anything to do with WW2. I enjoy finding out more about the lives of normal people that lived in that time.
From the first two chapters I was immediately pulled in to the lives of two different people - one man at war and one women working in a factory at home. It went straight into it and moved swiftly through, which I enjoy.
I’m excited to see where the story goes and whether these characters are connected or whether we will get introduced to more characters as the story goes on.
