A well-written first look at a book that reminds us about the separation war brought. Charlie has been on the frontline for some time and has never seen his son as he has been at war since his birth. There are unanswered questions about his wife Stella, is she unfaithful, is she lacking in personality or common ground with her husband? As Charlie is injured in war and heading home I am sure it won’t be long before we find out.
