Everyone loves war novels, there's something captivating about life in this time and the feelings of war-time spirit. I felt this buzz from the opening chapters, but am not initially sure how it might differ to other war-time romances. But I have enjoyed other similar books before so that would not put me off reading this, so long as the story develops well. However some of the choices of words felt a little modern for this time setting.
