My first impression is that this is not something I would normally choose. I would presume from the cover/title that it was aimed at someone older than me. However reading the blurb, I feel it would be enlightening and an interesting snapshot of life in the wartime period. Also worth noting that the previous "Ration Book" books in the series have proved popular with good reviews.
